Comprehensive Treatment Plans

At The Richmond Dental Centre, we treat every new patient with the utmost attention to detail.  Our patients’ first visits are a great source of pride for our team! 

If you are free of any emergent conditions – severe toothache, for instance – we schedule all new patients for an initital COE (Comprehensive Oral Exam) with one of our dentists.

The COE allows us the opportunity to perform an extensive evaluation and make a record of all extraoral, intraoral, soft and hard tissues. Often at these exams, the dentist takes a complete set of dental x-rays and photographs whereupon they can assess all of the records and data collected.

Armed with extensive information, the dentist will discuss with you in detail what they believe are the necessary steps forward to best care for your teeth. You will likely receive a hard copy of your treatment plan, with information on procedures required along with corresponding time and cost. This exam will provide you with insights and information into the status of your oral health. You will have a much better idea of what’s involved to restore and maintain your dental health.
